Most moisturizers are generally a mixture of oil, water and emulsifying agents which temporarily plump up your skin. They alleviate dryness but moisturizers don't penetrate deep into your skin. It it is one of the few age-fighting, gently exfoliating products that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and it seems to keep my foundation from accentuating the fine lines/wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. In another month or so, I expect to see a diminishing of the lines that are causing the problem in the first place!
